Eastering up my baskets

I found a pretty way to make some plain ole' baskets more "Eastery" or just pretty.

I had a huge silk floral arrangement that I used on my dining room table as a spring centerpiece, until I got tired of it after a few years.  SO..this year I decided to take it apart and use some of the flowers for other things.  This is what I came up with.

Ingredients:
1 Basket
Artificial flowers
Hot glue gun
Hot glue

First, plug in the hot glue gun and make sure its loaded.. uh, I mean has a glue stick in it.

Next, select a basket you want to jazz up!

Choose some silk flowers to your liking and begin choosing where you want to place them basket.
I wanted to go with some pink flowers because I had some iridescent foil I wanted to put in the bottom.

Simply start gluing your flowers around the basket.

I tried to balance out both sides with the same flowers.

If your flowers have metal stems you can also weave those around in the basket for more support.

Once you get all the flowers you want attached, I like to add a pretty bow to the top or side.

I also filled my basket with the iridescent paper and added some plastic eggs.

Here is the finished product!  Much prettier than a plain old basket, and you can use it anytime of the year or replace the flowers for different seasons.
